Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality residential projects in East Hampshire! The role has arisen due to the busyness of the contractor - who have been growing in the recent market. The role offers excellent progressional opportunities as well as a strong starting salary of up to £50,000 plus package.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the residential project, including construction progress, quality control, and health and safety compliance.
2. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely delivery of work according to project plans and specifications.
3. Monitor site activities and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise to maintain project schedule and budget.
4. Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to construction standards, regulations, and company policies.
5. Assist in managing site resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
6. Support the Site Manager in maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
7. Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably on residential projects.
8. Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
9. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams.
10. Proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
11. Valid CSCS card and relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
12. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures applicable to construction sites.
