The Role Were looking for an experienced Complaints Handler to join our Aftersales team, acting as a key point of contact for customers who experience issues with their vehicle post-purchase. Your mission? Turn challenges into positive experiences, deliver fast and fair resolutions, and protect our reputation by managing every complaint with empathy, integrity, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Handle aftersales complaints related to mechanical or warranty issues on recently sold vehicles
Coordinate diagnostic and repair bookings with the Workshop Controller
Keep customers updated throughout the process, clearly managing expectations
Resolve issues promptly and professionally to minimise vehicle return rates
Encourage satisfied customers to share positive reviews post-resolution
Accurately record all communication, case details, and outcomes
Collaborate with management to improve complaint handling processes and service standards
What Were Looking For Minimum 2 years experience in a used car dealership or automotive aftersales role
Sound understanding of warranty products, vehicle finance, and repair workflows
Strong knowledge of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and relevant motor trade legislation
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Calm, confident, and professional under pressure
Well-organised with strong time management and follow-up discipline
