ASSISTANT BLOCK PROPERTY MANAGER – Property Management

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Block Manager to support the management of a residential block portfolio in the North London area. The role is ideal for someone with some previous property management experience looking to grow into a full block management role.
Our client, a respected residential management company in Enfield, is looking for an organised and motivated Assistant Block Manager to support the Head of Property Management.
This role, which allows the possibility of some hybrid working, involves administration, contractor coordination, compliance, and property oversight, with full training and scope for progression into portfolio management.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
* Acting as first-line contact for residents and contractors
* Supporting day-to-day block management and repairs
* Coordinating contractors and monitoring works
* Assisting with major works projects and reporting
* Managing files, correspondence, and database updates
* Supporting budgets, accounts and service charge processes
* Conducting site visits and preparing reports
* Assisting with insurance claims and H&S compliance
* Helping ensure lease and legal obligations are met
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
* Property or block management experience preferred
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Confident with IT and administrative tasks
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
* Proactive, solution-focused, and willing to learn
* Good written and numerical abilities
* Able to work collaboratively and professionally
* Full UK driving licence
