With major capital projects already in progress, we are looking for a Projects Supervisor to help drive delivery and ensure our investments meet the needs of our residents and stakeholders. About the role As Projects Supervisor, you’ll work closely with Property Business Partners and stakeholders across the council to deliver high-quality capital projects and program. You’ll support project planning, procurement, contractor coordination, governance and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, CDM regulations, and internal governance. From site visits to reviewing technical designs and contractor bids, this is a hands-on, fast-paced role with a real impact on the built environment in Wakefield. What are we looking for? A background in construction or engineering with a relevant Level 5 qualification o r equivalent experience. Experience supporting project or contract delivery in a large organisation. Solid understanding of construction techniques, building regulations, and procurement processes. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence, engage and support stakeholders. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with attention to quality, compliance and timelines. Why join us?
