Commercial Account Handler - Remote, Northampton
This role is with a highly regarded independent Commercial Broker seeking to add remote Commercial Account Handlers to their teams. They look for driven professionals with commercial insurance experience to support a diverse client base.
The Account Handler supports the Account Executive in managing client portfolios, including contract renewals. You will be the first point of contact for external queries, requiring excellent client service skills.
This is a remote position with occasional office visits.
About the role:
* Deliver high-quality, efficient service to clients.
* Work closely with Account Executives to serve existing and new customers.
* Manage a range of clients from small to large risks.
* Ensure timely and accurate documentation for insurance placements, amendments, and renewals.
* Promote professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Key skills/experience required:
* Experience in commercial insurance account handling and technical knowledge.
* Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent relationship-building abilities.
* Experience with Acturis software.
* Ability to work under pressure and process large amounts of information.
* Negotiation and influencing skills.
* Progression towards CII qualifications is encouraged but not required.
