Job Duties:
* Develop and analyse robotic concept solutions.
* Perform complex simulations on loads, stress, fatigue and manufacturability.
* Perform GD&T analysis to design, build and test prototypes.
* Design mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic 2D and 3D models.
* Generating manufacturing drawings, BOMs and other documentations.
* Develop tests, perform failure analysis, and solution validation for product development.
* Contribute to the functional analysis and the collaborative definition of the requirement specification.
* Design systems under safety and quality standards for in-house CE Mark certification.
* Validate and ensure the advanced maintenance of the deployed systems.
* Build a strong technical expertise to steer development and integration of robotic technologies in aerospace.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Demonstrated experience in mechanical design within the aerospace or aviation industry.
* Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge and Skills:

o Design & integrate prototypes & demonstrators of innovative robotic solutions.
o Ensure that Safety concerns are properly solved or eased by design.
o Validate system assumptions and functionality under product integrity standards.
o Build & share a deep technical understanding of robotic solutions.
o Mentor junior engineers in good design practice.
o Hands-on experience in robotics / actuated systems control.
o Solid knowledge in Dynamics and Kinematics.
o Demonstrated influence in selection of sensors and actuators
Preferred Qualifications and desirable experience:

o Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
o Successful experience of integration of an industrial robotic solution used in production
o Familiar with robot simulation software (e.g. KUKA.Sim, RoboGuide, Visual Components, DELMIA, RoboStudio, Matlab/Simulink, RoboDK).
o High level of proficiency in CAD software, such as CATIA or 3DX.
Working Conditions:
