About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Logistics Assistant in Romford. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of finished manufactured parts.
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving and accurately storing finished manufactured parts.
* Ensuring all stock is processed correctly on our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
* Picking and packing customer orders with precision and care.
* Preparing outbound shipments with the correct documentation.
* Coordinating collections with approved couriers.
* Carrying out stock checks and maintaining a tidy, organised stores area.
* Working closely with colleagues and couriers to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
* High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
* Previous experience in warehouse or logistics would be advantageous but full training can be provided.
* Familiarity with MRP systems would be an asset.
* Ability to live within commuting distance of Romford.
