Job Description
* Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
* Produce complicated letters for clients.
* Identify tax planning and cross selling opportunities to pass on or deal with directly
* Assist with the coaching and development of junior staff.
* Billing and WIP management.
* Management of filing deadlines.
* Work closely with partners and other team members to efficiently deliver high-quality tax work.
* Contribute to the firm's business development activities.
* Stay updated with changes in tax law and communicate these effectively to clients.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Corporate Tax Assistant Manager should have:
* ATT/ACCA qualified with eagerness to pursue CTA.
* Good understanding of income tax, capital gains tax, national insurance & PAYE, pension planning, corporation tax and business tax.
* Basic understanding of inheritance tax and VAT.
* Able to deal with HMRC tax enquiries with tax manager's supervision.
* Able to research when personal knowledge or understanding is lacking and ask questions where required.
