Are you looking for fresh start? Our client based in a beautiful town with open green spaces and picturesque viewpoints in North West England is looking for a Consultant who specialises in Breast in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with a Special interest on a substantive basis.
The successful candidate will join a team of 8 full time and 3 part time consultants. There are opportunities to take a lead role such as the ATTAIN reviews (unanticipated term admissions to neonatal unit), and the obstetric fetal monitoring consultant lead role for the Trust.
It is essential that the post holder has a special interest in intrapartum care to be eligible for this post. The successful candidate will also share a perinatal mental health antenatal clinic with a specialist midwife and mental health nurse.
The following is required to be eligible for this post:
•Full GMC registration (ESSENTIAL)
•MRCOG or equivalent
•Relevant CCT or equivalent (‘equivalence' must be confirmed by PMETB/GMC by date of AAC)
•Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of AAC
•RCOG ATSM in Advanced Labour Ward Practice
•Have at least 8 years postgraduate experience in obstetrics & gynaecology and be 10 years post qualification: equivalent to UK CCT
•Appropriate Experience in intrapartum care
•Able to perform senior on call duties
•Active involvement in provision of intrapartum training

The post attracts 10.58 PAs inclusive of on call, with an on call supplement. The post includes 1:10 on call on the consultant rota with prospective cover.
