Uckfield College is a highly successful and popular college in the heart of rural Sussex yet within commuting distance of Brighton, Eastbourne and the South Coast. The college is an excellent working environment characterised by happy, well-motivated students and innovative and enthusiastic teachers. Following our recent inspection in April 2024, Uckfield College has been awarded an 'Outstanding' rating by Ofsted, both as the overall judgement, and in each of the different categories that are evaluated. The Science department is housed in our new main school building.
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and ambitious teacher, who is passionate about Science, to join our forward thinking Science team as Assistant Curriculum Leader of Science: KS4 Lead. A career at Uckfield College offers a rewarding future, with the opportunity to make real changes to the lives and outcomes of our young people. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and proactive professional who will be responsible for providing excellent teaching in the classroom for Science, lead our Combined Science GCSE cohort from Year 9 to Y11 and who will contribute to our exceptional Super Curricular programme.
Working at Uckfield College means joining a vibrant, dedicated and skilled team, who are committed to working collaboratively to achieve real excellence for our students. In return we offer a wealth of staff benefits including:
