What's involved with this role: Temporary Lead Officer - ASC/ Finance Reference no: Gloucestershire 5248108 Pay Rate: £18.06 per hour PAYE 37 Monday to Friday, normal working hours This opening assignment is for 6 months City: GLOUCESTER Agile home working, with at least 1 day a week on-site at Shire Hall, Gloucester depending on business needs Support the provision of a comprehensive financial service, including support of budget preparation, maintenance and closure of accounts, and maintenance of financial systems. Ensure that financial management, accounting and budgetary control/reporting arrangements are working effectively and to assist in providing a financial service to Budget Managers and Budget Holders. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Finance Manager - Projects & Capital Improving Project processes, standardising and embedding processes Reviewing Finance Manual policies, processes and procedures Supporting of costings for business cases Supporting the development of Statutory returns Supporting capital bids.
