Advanced Clinical Practitioner | Minehead Medical Centre / Part-time (32 hours per week) Available
Make a meaningful impact as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, working as part of a primary care at scale group delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to the local community.
Minehead Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team, to help us to transform and modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries.

If you:
1. Are a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner with current NMC / HCPC registration
2. Hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent Level 7 qualification, including a recognised Advanced Physical Assessment and Minor Illness/Injuries modules
3. Are a certified Independent Prescriber (V300)
4. Have primary care experience, including minor illness management
5. Are confident in managing whole episodes of care while working collaboratively within a wider multidisciplinary team
6. Demonstrate strong clinical reasoning and sound decision-making
7. Have excellent communication skills, patience, and a friendly, approachable manner
8. Are able to perform effectively in complex and high-pressure situations
9. Are flexible, proactive, and able to inspire and lead others

What you’ll work on
10. Delivering safe, effective, and compliant care to patients across the practice
11. Making autonomous clinical decisions in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
12. Managing planned and urgent primary care presentations, including minor illness
13. Working closely within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time
14. Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement, alongside the Lead Nurse
15. Providing clinical leadership within the practice and supporting high standards of care

20. £50,000 - £55,000 per annum FTE (40), dependent on experience
