Company Overview
Our client operates within the High-End / Prime Residential market, delivering bespoke refurbishment and new-build projects typically ranging from £2m-£5m, with a strategic focus on growing within the £4m-£8m bracket.
The business currently has 7 live projects, with a further 3 due to commence in Q1, and is targeting an annual turnover of £16m-£18m. With continued growth and increasingly complex project demands, they are seeking to strengthen their senior leadership structure.
The Role
The Project Director / Contracts Manager will sit above the Project Managers and oversee programme, coordination, and delivery across approximately 8 live projects. Should be comfortable managing 4-5 PMs and be able to produce and manage programmes effectively.
This individual will play a key strategic role in driving performance, ensuring consistency in delivery standards, and supporting the business as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
-Oversee multiple high-end residential projects simultaneously
-Manage and mentor 4 Project Managers
-Lead and manage project programmes, ensuring realistic sequencing and delivery
-Drive projects forward to ensure time, cost, and quality objectives are achieved
-Provide senior oversight across pre-construction and live schemes
-Implement structured project controls appropriate to larger-value schemes
-Support continued growth into the £4m-£8m project range
Requirements
-Proven experience delivering high-end residential projects (£2m-£8m+)
-Strong programme creation and management capability
-Experience overseeing multiple PMs and projects concurrently
-Commercial awareness and ability to support business growth
-Leadership presence suited to a growing, entrepreneurial contractor
