GFR Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a client for a GeneralOperativeto join their well established client based in Wednesbury WS10. This role suits someone with experience in thesteel or metals industrywho is confident working with cutting equipment and lifting machinery.
Pay: £12.71 per hour (increasing to £13.71 once permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00 to 17:00 (Two 30 minute breaks)
Location: Wednesbury WS10
Key Responsibilities
* Receive and inspect incoming goods against delivery notes
* Operate band saw machinery to cut materials to specification
* Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality
* Load and unload materials using an overhead crane
* Prepare and package orders ready for dispatch or collection
* Maintain accurate paperwork and stock identification
* Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Requirements
1. MUST have a minimum 2 years experience in the steel or metals industry
2. MUST have at least 1 year band saw experience
3. MUST have overhead crane experience
