What you need to know about the role
As the Works Services Operations Manager within our Energy Operations department, you will support the Area Manufacturing Managers in the management, control and coordination of multi-disciplined teams within the manufacturing unit, ensuring that team operational targets, product quality, customer service and safety objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and maintain discipline for your team
* Monitor performance of teams leaders and operators
* Identify, develop and initiate continuous improvement initiatives across your area
* Maintain the safe and continuous operations of all the manned and unmanned plants you cover
* Ensure key site required utilities are maintained
* Deputising for the Area Manufacturing Manager in their absence
What we need to know about you
You must have excellent communication skills as you will need to lead, manage and motivate multi-disciplined teams within a pressurised operations environment. We want you to demonstrate enthusiasm and drive as you strive to accomplish results to ensure product quality and customer service objectives are met.
You should have experience within relevant process/manufacturing environments. A safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH is desirable, although if not completed will form part of your training package.
