Location: Various positions – East Kilbride, Hamilton, and Lanark
An opportunity has arisen for social worker positions in South Lanarkshire’s Family Support Hubs.
Locality-based Family Support Hubs, launched on 27th September 2022 across South Lanarkshire, provide whole family support from pregnancy until 18 years. The aim is to reduce escalation of problems to care and protection proceedings by offering earlier, preventative, strengths-based help to families in need.
Applicants should have a good knowledge of The Promise, Whole Family Wellbeing Approach, Child Protection Procedures, and pre-birth assessments and interventions. The ability to work in partnership and preventatively with other agencies and families is essential.
