Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Calibration Technician to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our world‑class electronic instruments. In this hands‑on role, you will perform calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on a wide range of Keysight and third‑party equipment used in telecom, aerospace, defense, and high‑tech R&D environments.
1. Calibrate, test, and verify high‑precision electronic and RF instruments, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and related test equipment.
2. Perform preventive maintenance, functional testing, adjustments, and corrective repairs on Keysight and third‑party instrumentation.
3. Troubleshoot complex electronic, RF, and measurement issues using advanced diagnostic and calibration methodologies.
4. Ensure full compliance with ISO quality systems and UKAS accreditation requirements.
5. Accurately record calibration results, measurement uncertainty, and quality documentation in calibration management systems.
6. Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to understand technical requirements and deliver reliable, customer‑focused calibration services
Qualifications
7. Technical education or apprenticeship in electronics, metrology, telecommunications, RF engineering, or a related discipline.
8. Hands‑on experience in calibration laboratories, metrology environments, electronic repair, or test engineering roles.
9. Proven working experience within ISO and/or UKAS‑accredited calibration environments.
10. Strong practical knowledge of electronic and RF measurement equipment across multiple product families.
11. Ability to diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex, non‑standard calibration and instrumentation issues.
12. Strong communication skills with a detail‑oriented, quality‑focused, and customer‑centric mindset
