Vehicle & Motorcycle Technician Required in Brockenhurst, Hampshire
1. Salary: Up to £33,000 Basic + OTE £36,000
2. Hours: Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:00, Saturdays 1 in 2 08:30 – 12:00

Our client, a well-established family business with over 50 years of service in the New Forest area, is looking for a skilled Vehicle & Motorcycle Technician to join their team. With a strong reputation for quality service across both cars and motorbikes, they cater to a loyal customer base from Brockenhurst to Lyndhurst and beyond.

Duties of a Vehicle & Motorcycle Technician:
11. Diagnose and repair faults in both cars and motorcycles
12. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre checks
13. Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are successful
14. Communicate effectively with the Service Advisors and Manager regarding vehicle status
15. Maintain a high standard of workmanship in line with manufacturer guidelines
16. Continue to develop your technical expertise through training and hands-on experience
What our Client Expects from their Technician:
17. Qualifications: NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair; Motorcycle experience is a bonus
18. Experience: Previous experience with cars and/or motorcycles is preferred
19. Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
20. Attitude: A willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a commitment to high-quality work
21. Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean) & a Motorcycle driving licence would be preferable!
This role is based near Brockenhurst, and our client is ideally looking for candidates with experience in the motor trade. However, they are also open to considering applicants with various levels of experience, including those with NVQ Levels 1, 2, and 3 in light vehicle or motorcycle maintenance and repair.
