About the Role:
I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a main contractor delivering a large construction project in Dorchester, who are looking to appoint a site-based Document Controller to support day-to-day document management and administrative processes on site. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic project team, ensuring effective control of all project-related documentation and communications.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing and maintaining electronic and paper-based document control systems
*
Ensuring all project documents are properly filed, distributed, and updated in accordance with company procedures
*
Supporting the project team with issuing and tracking drawings, reports, and correspondence
*
Liaising with subcontractors and consultants to ensure timely document submissions
*
Maintaining accurate records and assisting with project audits and compliance
*
General site administration duties as required
Requirements:
*
Previous experience as a Document Controller on a construction project is essential
*
Familiarity with document control software (e.g. Viewpoint, Asite, Aconex, or similar)
*
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*
Strong communication and IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
*
Able to work independently and as part of a site-based team
