Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home (Healthcare Needs) Location: Warrington, WA2 Salary: £15.17 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week (mix of shifts admin time) We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join a specialist children’s residential home in Warrington (WA2) supporting young people with complex healthcare needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior support worker or deputy ready to step into a leadership role within a small, nurturing home. About the Home Residential setting for up to 6 children (currently 4 in placement) Focused on supporting children with healthcare and complex needs A structured, supportive environment with a strong team ethos ⭐ The Role As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and compliance. Your role will include: Leading shifts and supporting the staff team on the floor Contributing to care planning and risk assessments Supporting children with their daily routines, healthcare needs, and activities Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes Assisting with staff supervision, guidance, and development Completing admin duties, reports, and documentation Acting as a role model for best practice in children’s residential care This role offers a flexible split between shift work and office/admin responsibilities. ✅ Essential Requirements Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent) Experience working in a children’s residential setting Full UK driving licence – driver essential Strong understanding of safeguarding and children’s legislation We Also Welcome Candidates with experience in adult learning disabilities or healthcare settings are encouraged to apply full training will be provided to support transition into children’s services.
