Performance Objective As part of the pre-construction team your role is to ensure a smooth transition of a major project from Sales to Delivery. Working closely with both Sales and Projects teams, you will prepare the projects with all the information and detail required, then assist in the transitional handover between Sales and Project Management. There will be minimal ongoing involvement in the project in the form of technical support and assistance as required. Role and Responsibilities Join the major works team for major project reviews and meetings on projects likely to close, to form an understanding of requirements and scope. Attend prestart meetings on secured works. Take handover of major/technical projects from Sales with clear checklist of clarifications required prior to start on site. Working closely with Technical Director, co-ordinate design and technical input if required. Work with Document Controller to ensure all technical submissions, works plans, quality docs, samples etc are submitted and signed off. Draw up procurement and delivery programme with clear milestones with special attention to be paid to long lead-in items, flag to Procurement Manager. Populate project cost tracker ready for handover to Project Manager Ensure client A4P document provided lines up with ENAPPs and PM is clear how to apply accurately against correct workblocks. Review documentation requirements and ensure a plan in place for delivery of all requirements prior to PC - e.g. sustainability reporting, O&Ms, as-built drawings etc as applicable. Conduct handover meeting with Project Manager, Technical Director, Document Controller, Estimator and BDM, ensuring meeting is minuted and everyone goes away with clear action points. Attend Sales & Project meetings on a weekly basis and act as a bridge between the pre-contract & delivery teams to streamline handover and ensure successful project outcome.
