We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Joint Emergency Transport Unit, based at Trentham Lakes, Stoke-on-Trent.
The Unit is responsible for servicing and maintaining all fleet across Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue.
About the Opportunity
You will work with a passionate team committed to high standards in service delivery for colleagues who drive and use our fleet vehicles.
The role involves managing the Transport Office Assistants, acting as the first point of contact between the team and the Business Manager. You will oversee daily office operations, allocate tasks, plan workloads, and liaise with the Business Manager to set and meet expectations.
You will perform various administrative functions to support transport services, focusing on more specialized tasks, while also handling routine duties when needed.
Reporting to the Business Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape office functions and drive continuous improvement within the unit.
This role is key to the operational use of our vehicles and fleet. The force seeks individuals who are innovative, collaborative, and ethical.
