The company has secured start-up investment from techstart VC, Marchmont Ventures, and numerous high-profile angel investors. The company has already achieved a number of major successes and the team is expected to grow rapidly over the next 3 years.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team supporting several of the business's core functions. Whilst a full time position is available we'd be glad to consider candidates who are only available during school hours. This is perfect for someone who wants to support the success of the business by ensuring things are well organised and the detail is taken care of. The role requires somebody who is numerate, meticulous with detail, efficient, quick at picking up new tech tools, able to follow a prescribed process and takes pride in doing even the small things really well.

What the job involves
* You will primarily be tasked with processing early returns and novations, which requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple cases at once
* In addition, as a key member of our Finance Team, you will carry out essential tasks including checking quotes and calculations, issuing accurate reports to clients, and problem solving when issues arise
* You will support in issuing invoices via Xero to a range of partners
* You will support with general client support and finance administration
Requirements
* An experienced administrator with minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good numeracy skills
* Proficient in working digitally
* Being willing to take part in ongoing training to continuously improve your skill-set
* Interested and supportive of the UK’s goal to decarbonise transport and reach net-zero targets.
Bonus points if you have:
* An interest (even passion) for EVs
* Experience in an administrative role in which you consistently exceeded targets (internships/summer jobs are great)
* Experience working in Xero
