The role is to support our customers and 3rd party organisations integrate Ingenico payment solutions into their POS payment infrastructure through development, pilot and deployment stages. This will require having the requisite knowledge of Ingenico low level applications that control and manage API’s and payment applications (including EMV).

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers/integrators
2. Log and track the progress of each issue ensuring excellent communications with stakeholders
3. Work closely with regional and Group R&D to offer quick solutions
4. Lead customer support calls and meetings on technical issues and discussions
5. Preparation and loading of terminal software packages
6. Ensure loading tools are maintained to latest versions and standards
7. Occasional customer site visits to support and participate in technical investigations
8. Provide level 3 support for integration issues in production environment

9. Manage support requests in line with SLA’s
10. Deliver work on time and to a consistently high standard
11. Provide high first time fix rate on all resolved investigations
12. Maintain sound knowledge and understanding of Ingenico products and software architectures

Skills we can’t do without:

13. Microsoft Office skills required
14. Technical support experience in S/W, IT or other technology industry
15. Some software development experience i.e. C, C++, Java
16. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and layman’s terms
17. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
18. Effective time management of workload related tasks
19. Ability to work autonomously with little supervision

Skills we’d like:

20. HND level in suitable engineering discipline or above
21. Experience with C/C++, WinCE/Android Studio and WIN OS applications

25. Self-motivated and enthusiastic
