This is a fantastic opportunity for a Key Stage 2 teacher to join a nurturing school environment and support pupils as they progress through Lower Key Stage 2. The Role As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play a key role in consolidating pupils' learning in Lower KS2, building on prior knowledge and preparing them for the increased expectations of upper Key Stage 2. Key Responsibilities Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Lower Key Stage 2 national curriculum Supporting pupils' progress in core subjects (reading, writing, and maths) and foundation subjects Developing pupils' confidence, independence, and resilience in their learning Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and interventions Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Providing targeted support for pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEN Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Desirable Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 Strong understanding of the Lower KS2 curriculum (Year 4 desirable) Excellent classroom management and organisational skills A creative, engaging, and structured teaching style Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work full-time in the Marlow (SL7) area from September Desirable Experience teaching Year 4 Knowledge of progression within Lower Key Stage 2 Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (SEN) Understanding of assessment and pupil progress tracking Why This Role?
