Account Manager / New Business Sales Executive
Sheffield (Office-Based)
£30,000 – £35,000 DOE + Uncapped OTE
The Role
I am looking for a driven and commercially minded Account Manager / New Business Sales Executive to join my clients growing telecoms team in Sheffield. This is a dual role combining account management and new business generation, giving you the opportunity to both nurture existing clients and drive new revenue.
You’ll manage a portfolio of 40–50 SME accounts (1–15 users), building strong relationships while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell a range of telecoms solutions. Alongside this, you’ll proactively generate new business leads for the field sales team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of 40–50 existing accounts
* Build strong client relationships to maximise retention and growth
* Identify and deliver upsell and cross-sell opportunities
* Promote a range of solutions including:
o Mobile
o Connectivity (Broadband, Leased Lines)
o Voice (VoIP / Hosted Telephony)
o Data solutions
* Generate and qualify new business opportunities for the field sales team
* Conduct outbound calls and proactive account reviews
* Work towards and exceed monthly revenue targets
* Maintain accurate records using CRM systems
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in account management, telesales, or B2B sales
* Telecoms experience is highly desirable (mobile, connectivity, VoIP, etc.)
* Proven track record of upselling, cross-selling, or new business generation
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Target-driven with a proactive, results-focused mindset
* Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities
