This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Product Manager looking to develop their career in project management within our Business Savings team. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering our Change Agenda, supporting a variety of initiatives and leading small to medium‑sized projects that make a meaningful impact.
At Nationwide, our 15 million members are at the centre of every decision we make. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Business Savings and the wider Society, helping shape the future of our products and services. You'll also collaborate with developers working on our core banking system, becoming a subject matter expert in our products, systems, and processes, all of which will support the delivery of the projects you lead.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring strong resilience and the ability to work independently to deliver key objectives. Experience in Business Savings or Business Banking is desirable but not essential, and you should be willing to travel within the UK when business needs require it.
This is a 12 month secondment opportunity.
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Northampton, Swindon or London office. Whilst these locations are where we are primarily looking to fill the role, if you're an internal applicant based in a different location we would welcome your application and if successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this could work for this specific role. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.
Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.
If you're a colleague on long term absence (for example, on parental leave) or a temporary worker, please use your personal email address to submit an application.
