The below job description will outline this position of: Marine Distribution Sales Manager Typically, this person will lead and develop key global customer relationships - you will deliver a seamless sales experience and focus on driving growth which is in line with the companys strategic objectives. This role is to focus on managing the global distribution network, you will define the retail and brand presence strategy, develop new business, and ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and profitability. Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Distribution Sales Manager: You will: Work closely within a team and alongside the Sales Director to develop and execute a detailed pre-agreed sales strategy for the Distribution market Manage all aspects of pricing, quotations, and margin control, ensuring commercial objectives are met. Conduct regular distributor reviews to monitor the satisfaction, performance, and strategic focus. Guide the aftermarket sales team to assist with goal achievements. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth targets. Prepare accurate market data and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making. Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and client visits, including occasional international travel as required. Skills Required: Proven experience in Retail or Distribution networks, ideally within the marine, automotive, or engineering sectors. Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing strategy, margin management, and forecasting. Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills. Experience of effectively running a team Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
