Pay £12.21 per hour

Responsibilities
* Sparking imaginations: You’ll be the architect of awesome activities, inspired by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, that ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning. You’ll be planning and supervising activities like arts and crafts, music and imaginative play.
* Nurturing little hearts: Providing top-notch care and support to our children is at the core of what is done, ensuring they feel safe, secure, and ready to conquer the world!
* Super-sleuth observations: Having eyes in the back of the head (figuratively speaking, of course!) to observe, assess, and document children's progress, celebrating every tiny triumph along the way.
* Building bridges of brilliance: Forging strong bonds with children, their families, and your incredible colleagues will be a key part of the day, making our nursery a true family affair.
* Making magic happen: Contributing to the overall smooth running of the nursery, ensuring a fun, stimulating, and safe environment where every child feels like a superhero.
Requirements
* A Level 3 childcare qualification: Being qualified to work your magic with the little ones.
* An understanding of the EYFS framework: Knowing the secret sauce to making learning fun and effective.
* Communication skills so bright they sparkle: The ability to chat with toddlers and grown-ups with equal ease.
* Team player extraordinaire: Thriving in a collaborative environment where every day is a group effort.
* A sound recognition of health and safety requirements to ensure our setting keeps everyone safe.
Bonus points if you have
* Ongoing professional development (always learning new tricks!)
* A Paediatric First Aid certificate (our little heroes need protecting!)
* Experience implementing the EYFS framework (being a master builder of learning foundations)
* Experience working with special needs children and/or SENCo training.
* A positive attitude that could brighten even the rainiest of days!
