Learning Support Assistant – SEND Schools

£14.30 per hour
Teaching Personnel are recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Southampton that support pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
These schools cater for children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, communication needs and learning difficulties.
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
* Helping students access the curriculum
* Supporting emotional regulation and social development
* Working alongside teachers and SEND professionals
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children or young people
* This could include education, youth work, care work, medical settings, Camp America, sports coaching or similar roles
* Availability at least 4 days per week
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
