About the Role
Planning of incoming work for the workshops, Progressing and interpreting the customers order and input into our computer system.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and plan incoming orders to ensure the work pack contains all relevant instructions/requirements.
* Review maintenance Manuals and check revision status to current task cards
* Produce new task cards for adding of new capability.
* Input CMM data into the computer system as an when required.
* Allocation of work to the workshop supervisor.
* Liaising with customers on any order discrepancies
* Assisting with technical input for compiling quotations.
* Any other duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous mechanical engineering experience essential
* Previous experience in an aerospace / MRO industry would be advantageous.
* Must be able to read and interpret technical data.
* Experience of implementing and managing robust planning and control procedures to ensure ongoing delivery of customer requirements.
* IT literate with good planning and organisational skills. Knowledge of TracWare / AeroTrac system would be advantageous but not essential.
