About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic English Teacher to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver stimulating English lessons tailored to students’ needs
* Assess and monitor students’ progress regularly
* Provide constructive feedback to support learner development
* Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and teaching practises
Qualifications and Education
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline
* Postgraduate qualification in Education (preferred)
Experience
* Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level
* Experience working with diverse student populations
* Familiarity with integrating technology into classroom teaching (preferred)
Knowledge and Skills
* Comprehensive understanding of the English curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet varied student needs
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
