Responsibilities
* Understand company and client safety policies and procedures.
* Ensure all employees under your control understand and adhere to the policies and procedures.
* Align personal and employee daily practices and behaviours with Altrad Values.
* Ensure all employees comply with Company, Client, and Project PPE Standards.
* Use Digital Systems provided to maximize time in the field for compliance, safety performance, retention of records, progress, and productivity tracking for continuous improvements.
* Ensure compliance with AIMS‑SOP‑24‑17 for Scaffold Design procedures and elevate any omissions to the Scoper for future pack preparation.
* Provide clear direction of design compliance requirements to teams under your control.
* Ensure that all relevant documentation is in place in accordance with work, project, and outage procedures.
* Initiate and participate in pre‑job briefs and toolbox talks.
* Consult the company technical/safety department to determine adequate safe systems of work when necessary.
* Assess the pre‑job risk assessments conducted by team leaders to ensure sufficient controls and protections are in place.
* Plan and maintain a good housekeeping regime, ensuring working areas are always clean and tidy.
* Ensure employees are not exposed to hazardous substances or environments without suitable controls.
* Ensure employees do not complete tasks for which they are not adequately trained.
* Actively monitor work practices and coach employees to ensure adherence to correct procedures and standards for safety and environmental performance.
* Avoid horseplay or misuse of plant, equipment, or any provided resources in the interest of health, safety, or welfare.
* Identify and raise any significant risks to the health and safety of employees or third parties.
* Report all accidents and incidents immediately to the Site Manager.
* Plan and organize work to meet contract schedules and maximize workforce efficiency and productivity.
* Monitor progress and provide feedback on issues that may impact schedule, budget, or other project or operation areas.
* Attend all relevant planning, safety, and operational meetings as directed.
* Submit Digital Daily Allocations in line with scopes of work, updating resource allocation hours and task progress daily.
* Prepare scoping activities and work packs in accordance with AIMS‑SOP‑24‑17, AIMS‑SOP‑24‑14, and submit to Altrad Engineering as required.
* Ensure compliance procedures for Scaffolding Design inspections are adhered to.
* Complete Scaffold Inspections using Digital Systems, ensuring adherence to Altrad AIMS‑SOP‑24‑13.
* Inspect and safely use safety harnesses following AIMS‑SOP‑24‑01.
* Work in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and specialized technical standards.
* Regularly assess and review performance with employees, taking prompt action to resolve any issues.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Must be local to the site.
* Valid CCNSG Safety passport.
* Valid Scaffold Supervisors card.
* Relevant role experience.
