Whole School Approach Assistant
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) is seeking an enthusiastic, kind, compassionate and resilient Assistant Whole School Approach Co‑ordinator to support the delivery of the Whole School Approach within our Mental Health Support Teams.

Job responsibilities
* Assist the Whole School Approach Lead in helping schools to access resources, guidance and information about emotional well‑being.
* Co‑ordinate early intervention and prevention activities across education providers for school years 3 to 13.
* Support the delivery of additional capacity for early intervention within school and college settings.
* Maintain accurate records of school engagement and Whole School Approach activities.
* Work closely with colleagues in the Mental Health Support Team and partner organisations to provide emotional and mental health support to children, young people and families.
* Contribute to the planning and monitoring of interventions and provide feedback to improve services.
Qualifications
* English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent (GCSE 9‑4 or A*‑C or functional skills Level 2).
* NVQ Level 2 in a related subject.
* NVQ Level 3 in a related subject or willingness to undertake a relevant Level 3 apprenticeship.
* Willingness to undertake relevant training.
* Experience or training related to education, youth work, or mental health.
Experience
* Working with children or young people.
* Supporting well‑being activities or projects.
* Working in partnership with schools or community organisations.
* Experience in education, health or community settings.
* Communicating with people from a range of backgrounds.
Knowledge
* Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
* Basic understanding of children's mental health.
* Awareness of challenges facing young people in school.
* Awareness of whole school approaches to well‑being.
Skills
* Ability to organise tasks and manage time.
* Clear and confident communication.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
* Basic presentation or group facilitation skills.
* Ability to collect feedback or basic data.
