Overview We are currently seeking an Electrical Estimator in Flint to support a strong pipeline of electrical and wider M&E projects across multiple sectors. This is a key role within a well-established contractor, producing accurate, competitive tenders and supporting bids from enquiry through to handover. What You'll Be Doing Preparing estimates and tender submissions for electrical works (and supporting full M&E packages where required) Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation to confirm scope and pricing strategy Completing take-offs and building labour and material costings Issuing supplier and subcontractor enquiries and analysing returns Producing clear clarifications, exclusions and assumptions to reduce commercial risk Identifying value engineering options and alternative specifications where appropriate Supporting bid submissions, tender queries and internal adjudications Producing structured handover packs for delivery teams once work is secured Maintaining accurate records of pricing, supplier information and estimating templates Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within building services or electrical contracting Strong understanding of electrical systems and typical packages (power, lighting, containment, fire alarm, emergency lighting, testing) Confident interpreting drawings and specifications and building scope accurately Strong Excel ability and a tidy, methodical approach to documentation Clear communicator, able to liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines without losing detail Benefits Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience Company benefits package Stable tender pipeline with a well-established contractor delivering varied work across multiple sectors
