What you will do
* Define and lead long-term Paid Search strategies for major accounts, aligned to client business objectives
* Provide senior-level consultancy to client stakeholders, navigating complex challenges and growth opportunities
* Oversee multiple accounts to ensure strategic consistency, executional excellence, and commercial impact
* Develop and mentor managers and analysts, raising the overall capability of the Paid Media team
* Identify and lead growth opportunities, including upsell initiatives and expanded service offerings
* Guide the strategic direction of high-value paid media campaigns
* Translate broader marketing strategies into effective Paid Search plans
* Collaborate with SEO, PR, Content and other teams to create integrated campaign strategies
* Present strategic roadmaps, performance updates and growth plans to senior stakeholders
* Conduct deep-dive account audits to unlock new performance opportunities
* Lead innovation and testing frameworks across key accounts
* Ensure robust measurement frameworks connect Paid Search to commercial outcomes
* Support pitch processes and contribute to winning new business
* Maintain expertise in industry trends, automation developments and emerging technologies
* Build strong, trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders
* Oversee resource allocation and account structure to protect quality and efficiency
* Champion best practice and strategic thinking across the Paid Media team
Requirements
* Advanced expertise in Google Ads and Paid Search strategy across large or complex accounts, overseeing multiple accounts simultaneously
* Proven ability to develop and implement long-term strategic roadmaps
* Strong consultancy skills, with confidence advising senior stakeholders
* Experience leading, mentoring and developing team members
* Deep understanding of automation, bidding strategies and cross-channel integration
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Commercial mindset with the ability to align performance with business outcomes
* High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ambitious, proactive and driven to continually improve standards
* 6+ years of hands-on experience in Paid Search or Paid Media
* Experience managing large budgets and high-value client accounts
* Experience contributing to or leading new business pitches and growth initiatives
Locations
Leeds: £45,000 - £52,000
Manchester: £48,000 - £57,000
London: £52,000 - £60,000
This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days in the office per week.
