Product Manager – Trade Services
A leading global financial institution is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to drive themercialisation of trade finance and working capital solutions across the EMEA region.
About the Role
In this role, you will act as a product specialist across a diverse suite of trade and working capital loan solutions, engaging closely with sales, engineering, risk, and marketing teams to deliver best in class product performance and client oues. You will play a pivotal part in shaping strategic initiatives, supportingplex transaction structuring, and ensuring strongernance and risk management across the product set.
Key Responsibilities
•Serve as product expert across traditional trade and working capital loan offerings, including Import & Export Loans, Electronic Loans, Sustainable Trade Loans, Islamic Trade Loans, and FI Trade Advance solutions.
•Lead financial performance management, including revenue momentum and expense discipline.
•Provide product structuring guidance onplex trade finance transactions.
•Develop product requirements, business cases, and investment proposals.
•Collaborate cross functionally to drivemercialisation strategies and platform enhancements.
•Monitor product performance and customer success metrics across new and existing offerings.
•Contribute to capital optimisation and risk distribution initiatives.
•Support producternance, controls, and regulatory adherence.
•Lead and support strategic projects such as Target Operating Model development, digitisation roadmaps, and post Brexit regulatory initiatives.
•Uphold high standards of risk,pliance, and ethical conduct.
Candidate Profile
•Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
•7–10 years’ experience in banking or fintech, ideally in corporate lending or trade finance.
•Solid understanding of corporate lending products, pricing concepts, and legal documentation.
•Experience with structured finance solutions and LMA based loan/security documentation is highly desirable.
•Background in credit underwriting or relationship management beneficial.
•Strongmunication skills and confidence in client facing environments.
