About the role
We are looking for a Shift Manager to work in our Bars & Shops Venues across the resort.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team is in the right place at the right time to ensure we can manage fluctuating guest demand whilst maintaining operational standards and guest experience.
You will support and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key targets such as add-on sales or promotions.
This is an operational guest-facing role, and all non-guest-facing tasks will be allocated within your working week, allowing you to spend most of your time within your venue and with our guests.
The role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is essential.
As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same. You will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting involved, and prioritizing guest experience.
About You
We seek an experienced leader from an F&B environment capable of supporting the team to deliver excellent service. You should prioritize guests in all you do and have experience in training and coaching teams in a lively environment to deliver an exceptional experience.
Previous leadership experience in a busy restaurant, bar, or retail environment where speed and quality are crucial is required.
You should be confident in directing and responding to any situation while maintaining brand standards.
Strong leadership skills are necessary to motivate and engage your team, especially during peak times, and to manage multiple priorities with adaptability.
You should be able to inspire your team to achieve outstanding results for both guests and colleagues.
