We’re looking for an analytical, detail‑driven Inventory Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll support inventory accounting across multiple sites, ensure the accuracy of financial data, and play a key part in our monthly reporting and physical inventory processes. You’ll work closely with local site teams and finance colleagues across EMEAI, gaining exposure to a truly international environment.

Location: Witney (Hybrid: 2 days onsite – Monday & Wednesday, 3 days remote)

Financial Management
1. Understand and comply with month end close timetable.
2. Prepare monthly standard journals in accordance with monthly checklists.
3. Update manufacturing efficiency reports and gain a basic understanding of those reports.
4. Review monthly reconciliations of inventory.
5. Produce manufacturing reports for local management.
6. Support in identifying variances and results to local management.
7. Gain a general understanding of corporate and local finance policies.
8. Business Partner local management with information and support.
9. Participate in local budgeting and forecasting processes in co-operation with site finance managers.
10. Support local Finance Managers as required.
11. Provide information for production of statistical and legal data to meet national government requirements.
12. Support finance teams execute the Physical Inventory counts at EMEAI sites.
Finance / ERP System – Oracle
13. Maintain financial and cost coding in Oracle
14. Prepare and upload standard journals
15. Regular Sub Ledger Updates and correct issues arising.
16. Maintain inventory provisions in accordance with corporate policy.
17. Understand process flows within Oracle.
General
18. Work with other Finance departments within GSC and EMEAI to ensure accurate running of the Finance function
19. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies
20. University degree / accounting based qualifications (currently studying or completed CIMA qualifications an advantage)
21. Demonstrated high attention to numerical detail
22. Technical person by nature
23. Existing experience operating an ERP system preferably Oracle or SAP (coding and values against codes).
24. Working within manufacturing in a similar role would be helpful but not essential as training will be given.
25. Ability to work with international teams, complying with international IFRS or local GAAP requirements, under strict deadlines.
26. High proficiency in Excel.
27. Proficiency in English, other European languages a plus (particularly German)
28. Occasional travel required.
29. In-office schedule of 2 days per week required (Monday and Wednesday).
