UK Renewable Energy Recruitment Manager | Expert in Project Development | 12+ Years Recruitment Experience
Our client has grown to be one of the largest and most respected property consultancies and surveying advisory firms in the UK with a network of offices across England and Wales, employing more than 900 partners and employees. As a major property practice, they have a market-leading energy team comprising surveyors, valuers, environmental specialists, project managers, and town planners. Providing sound independent advice on all aspects of an energy project, they enable their clients to take full advantage of the opportunities that the energy market presents.
We have an excellent opportunity in Birmingham for an Associate Partner level to provide property services including temporary access, acquisition, CPO, compensation, and valuation advice to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects including Rail, Road, Energy, and Transport. To assist in leading, developing, and delivering high-quality and innovative strategic and tactical advice to clients in the infrastructure sector.
Ideally, you will be RICS Qualified and an RICS Registered Valuer with extensive PQE experience in a general practice/infrastructure surveying role with a business development-oriented attitude, focused on delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the delivery of major Infrastructure projects for National Bodies and Corporate investors.
* Deliver valuation reports in accordance with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards.
* Develop and undertake new business/relationship opportunities and drive initiatives in the local area.
* Undertake option and lease negotiations, valuations, and general professional negotiations.
* Conduct feasibility and development appraisals.
* Site brokerage and ensuring high standards of service and professional behavior.
* Negotiate disturbance claims following works.
* Secure consents for access across third-party land.
* Manage and guide activities in your area.
* Provide advice on statutory and sectorial process changes.
* Negotiate and manage lease events, asset acquisitions, and disposals.
* Identify opportunities, mitigate risks and liabilities.
* Implement policies and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency.
* Lead opportunities from due diligence to project management of capital works.
* Work effectively within teams across different scenarios.
* Contribute to developing efficient internal systems and processes.
* Ensure legal compliance in all work.
* Manage surveyors and mentor junior team members.
