Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and supportive People Advisor to deliver high-quality HR support across the organisation. You’ll work closely with People Partners to guide managers, improve processes, and champion a positive employee experience.
What you’ll do
* Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers and employees.
* Support onboarding, pre-employment checks, and probation processes.
* Maintain the HRIS and support monthly payroll activities.
* Monitor absence, advise on sickness management and coordinate Occupational Health referrals.
* Support employee relations cases including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
* Manage family-friendly processes such as maternity, paternity, and flexible working.
* Support policy updates and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
* Contribute to HR improvement projects and engagement initiatives.
* Produce regular HR reports including absence, turnover and diversity metrics.
About you
* CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards).
* Experience in a fast-paced HR advisory role.
* Confident working with HR systems and data.
* Experience supporting payroll processes.
* Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
* Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
* Able to handle sensitive matters with discretion and integrity.
* Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive working environment.
