A client of ours in the Halstead area are recruiting a Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm and paying 25,000 - 27,000 per annum depending on experience.
Reporting to the FD, key duties include but are not limited to:
* Accounts Payable: Processing supplier invoices, managing employee expenses, and compiling payment runs.
* Accounts Receivable: Posting bank receipts and following up on late payments.
* Bank Reconciliation: Updating and reconciling bank accounts and managing petty cash.
* Data Entry: Entering accurate financial data into accounting software.
* Financial Reporting: Assisting in preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns.
* Administrative Support: Filing, scanning documents, and resolving supplier or staff queries.
* Other Ad hoc projects: Streamlining processes and improving financial and management reporting.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Finance Administrator position:
* Working towards AAT accountancy qualification or willingness to work towards this.
* Strong Microsoft excel skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Previous accounts experience is desirable however training is available.
* Knowledge of accounting principles.
