Support Practitioner
Our amazing team in Clydebank are seeking reliable, patient and upbeat colleagues to join us as Support Practitioners. As part of one of our warm, friendly, supportive teams you will support either 3 or 4 ladies within their shared homes, helping with housework, personal care, meal preparation, finances and attending appointments.
There’s never a dull moment – the ladies enjoy an active social life, including dance classes, theatre, music and karaoke. Other favourite activities include knitting and day trips to Largs, Loch Lomond, Oban and local runs.
Responsibilities
* Support the ladies with day‑to‑day tasks, such as housework, personal care, meal preparation, finances and appointments.
* Assist with mobility and driving when required.
* Provide a friendly, supportive and engaging environment for the ladies.

Shift patterns
Our team provides tailored 24/7 care and support. Shift patterns include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers or waking nights on a rotational basis.

Additional requirements
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with support from our Training Academy. Candidates must also register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting employment.
Legal and safety checks: If you have spent more than 12 months out of the UK (excluding France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant governmental police authority as part of our pre‑employment checks.
