About The Role

Reporting to the Strategic People and Resourcing Manager, this role will provide strategic HR advice and expertise to enable Executive Directors and Senior Leaders to deliver their objectives.

This is a real opportunity to support the ambition of the Combined Authority and will contribute to delivering positive and impactful change across the Liverpool City Region.

This will be an exciting time to join the team to help shape the future of the organisation, supporting transformation and workforce planning activity aligned to organisational design by providing expert strategic HR advice.


About The Person

You must be able to demonstrate your ability to ensure HR change management processes are planned, communicated, executed, and evaluated working with senior leaders, Trade Unions and the wider organisation.

You will be a proactive and collaborative member of the Strategic HR team and will have a proven record of performing a trusted adviser role to Executive Directors and Senior Leaders. You will have experience of designing and implementing organisational change relating to work and people.


Key Essential Criteria

* Experience as a Strategic HR Business Partner in a public sector organisation or other organisation of comparable scope and complexity.
* Significant experience providing HR strategic advice on the full range of Projects/initiatives.
* Experience of strategic workforce planning and provision of solutions.
