Key Responsibilities of the RE Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Encourage students to develop respect and understanding of different faiths and values.
* Track student progress and provide regular feedback to support learning outcomes.
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and open discussions.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum.
Requirements for the RE Teacher role:
* Applications are welcome from QTS holders, Early Career Teachers (ECTs), and those with suitable overseas teaching qualifications.
* Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and challenge students.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
