The Global Partnerships Finance team plays a key role in supporting ITV’s international licensing and content distribution activities. Working closely with Sales Co-ordinators, Commercial teams and wider Finance colleagues, the team ensures financial data, contracts, invoices and purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently within a fast-moving commercial environment.
This is a collaborative and supportive team that values precision, ownership and continuous improvement. There is a strong focus on standardisation, systems accuracy and process efficiency, alongside building strong working relationships across Global Partnerships and Finance. The role..
This role sits within the Global Partnerships Finance team and plays an important part in supporting the accuracy and integrity of financial data across licensing and commercial activity. As Finance Assistant (Global Partnerships), you will provide hands-on financial administration support, ensuring system data is verified, invoices and purchase orders are raised correctly, and financial processes are followed consistently.
It’s a great opportunity for someone with experience supporting a finance team who enjoys working with systems, investigating discrepancies and contributing to process improvements. You’ll work closely with Sales Co-ordinators and finance colleagues to ensure financial information within the PARIS (Licence) system and related platforms is accurate, compliant and aligned to contract terms.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Reviewing and verifying financial data inputted by Sales Co-ordinators, ensuring accuracy within the PARIS system
2. Reviewing contracts and amendments (including reversions) to ensure correct financial treatment
3. Reviewing and releasing profit overrides in line with agreed terms
4. Raising and reviewing purchase orders for the business
5. Raising invoices accurately and in a timely manner
6. Supporting testing of new finance systems and process improvements
7. Driving standardisation and efficiencies in financial processing across Global Partnerships
8. Providing ad hoc financial administration support to the wider finance team as required
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
9. Significant experience supporting a finance team in a complex organisation
10. Demonstrates high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
11. Strong numerical skills with an understanding of sub-ledger double entry accounting
12. An ability to perform investigations in order to resolve issues
13. Experience using a major ERP system (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
14. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
