Group Buyer – FMCG | Office-Based Craigavon
I'm recruiting for a newly created Group Buyer role with a well-established packaging business. This senior-level position will lead procurement strategy and supplier management, with a focus on cost control, operational efficiency, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee bulk purchasing and negotiate favourable terms
* Manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply and service
* Track procurement KPIs and identify areas for cost savings
* Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
* Align purchasing activity with inventory needs and production timelines
* Maintain standards for quality, pricing, and delivery
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior procurement or buying role, ideally within FMCG
* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
* Degree on Business Management or similar
* Commercially minded with a data-driven approach
* Confident in forecasting, benchmarking, and contract management
* Effective communicator with solid organisational skills
Role Details:
* Full-time, office-based: Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:30pm
* UK travel required
* Salary dependent on experience
