TLTP are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced PMLD/ Complex Needs Teacher to join a specialist school in Wallington, Surrey.
This is a rewarding opportunity to teach pupils working at Entry Level / Functional Skills Level 1, including low:level Post:16 life skills.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Entry Level / Functional Skills and Post:16 life skills
* Deliver creative, pupil:focused lessons aligned to an agreed timetable
* Take full responsibility for the progress and achievement of pupils within your specialism
* Lead and coordinate a team of SEN Teaching Assistants
* Apply a holistic approach, incorporating social care and teaching strategies
* Promote pupil wellbeing, safeguarding, and safety at all times
* Provide opportunities to develop English skills across varied contexts
Person Specification
Essential:
* QTS or QTLS qualification
* Experience working with SEN / Complex Needs / SLD / PMLD
* Primary, Secondary or Post:16 teaching experience
* Ability to lead a subject area and drive exceptional pupil progress
* Experience managing and working alongside a multidisciplinary classroom team
* Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment
