What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
* SRA or CILEx qualified, or on track to qualify by September 2025
* Experience in criminal law and working with criminal clients
* Solid understanding of court processes and criminal procedure
* Comfortable managing your own files and meeting deadlines
* Strong client care, communication, and organisational skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
* A team player who aligns with our values and high standards
Desirable:
* Duty Solicitor status, or a genuine ambition to achieve it soon – with full support from us!
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Handling a wide range of criminal defence work – both private and legal aid – including complex and sensitive cases
* Representing clients at police stations, Magistrates' Court, and Crown Court
* Conducting your own advocacy and providing clear, confident legal advice
* Managing your own caseload and progressing matters efficiently
* Working closely with experienced team members to support and learn from each other
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality standards (LAA, SRA, ISO:9001, etc.)
* Contributing to wider team goals and business development, including writing articles and attending events
