We have a permanent, General Assistant role to join our team based at Manchester - Seymour Grove Health Centre.
1. £12.62 per hour, £24,681.00 per annum, pro-rata
2. 37.5 hours per week
3. Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 3.30 pm
4. DBS check will be conducted, training will be providing
Key Responsibilities
The role of a General Assistant is to deliver general assistant services to the required standard and specification; providing the highest standards of service delivery and working practices.
5. Timely delivery of a full range of directly provided general assistant services to include
6. Testing fire alarms
7. Collection and movement of patients to and from wards
8. Deliver linen to wards and removed spoiled linen to laundry/laundry store.
9. Removal and storage of clinical and other household waste.
10. Receipt, movement and storage of blood, specimens.
11. Undertake a range of cleaning duties to include operating electrical floor cleaning equipment, steam cleaning equipment in line with the national cleaning specification.
12. To ensure all grounds, car parks and gardens are clean and tidy. In extreme weather salt/grit paths and car parks.
